One can hardly experience sharper contrasts. Mumbai shows one the most profound poverty and the most extreme wealth within the narrowest possible space. More than 11 million people live in the slums of this metropolis sharing but a few square metres with their families. All the more astonishing are the joy and vivid curiosity with which guests are welcomed.
