New director at the International Diaconate Centre (IDC)
On 1 August 2024, Kilian Schadt took over the position of Managing Director of the International Diaconate Centre (IDC) in Rottenburg, succeeding Deacon Jörg Stein.
Bishop Dr Gebhard Fürst, the Protector of the IDC, officially retired on Monday, 4 December 2023. Pope Francis has accepted his resignation on the grounds of age.
