Following intensive efforts and thanks to the significant of Oswald Cardinal Gracias, it us now certain, Pope Francis will welcome the participants to the Jubilee with enthusiasm and grant them a private audience. Pope Francis’ acceptance is even more gratifying as the Synod of Bishops on the topic of “The Vocation and Mission of the Family in the Church and World of Today” takes place at the same time. Given that the exact program of the Synod has not yet been decided, the date and time of the audience cannot be determined with precision at this time. The schedule of our Jubilee will be adapted accordingly.

More than 30 Hong Kong deacons and their wives will come to the Jubilee. Our guests are from Australia, Canada, USA, Argentina, Colombia, Brasil, Cuba, Mexico, South Africa, Simbabwe, India, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Italy, Spain, Romania, Finland, Switzerland, Honduras and Germany.
