Jubilee celebration at Rome / Assisi, October 21st to 25th, 2015
Following intensive efforts and thanks to the significant of Oswald Cardinal Gracias, it us now certain, Pope Francis will welcome the participants to the Jubilee with enthusiasm and grant them a private audience. Pope Francis’ acceptance is even more gratifying as the Synod of Bishops on the topic of “The Vocation and Mission of the Family in the Church and World of Today” takes place at the same time. Given that the exact program of the Synod has not yet been decided, the date and time of the audience cannot be determined with precision at this time. The schedule of our Jubilee will be adapted accordingly.
The program promises to be a harmonious blending of retrospect and looking towards the future of a diaconal Church and of a diaconal ministry within it. Liturgical celebrations, spiritual impulses and cultural highlights in Rome and Assisi will make up a worthy offer for the participants from all over the world.
